AI assurance is rapidly gaining traction, becoming a priority for companies across the world. AI assurance involves evaluating and communicating whether AI systems are reliable and trustworthy, increasing the confidence of people and organisations who are considering or already deploying AI solutions.

AI assurance is also a major priority for the UK government, who championed the importance of an effective and mature AI assurance ecosystem in the National AI Strategy published last autumn, followed by the AI Assurance Roadmap led by the Centre for Data Ethics and Innovation (CDEI).

In collaboration with the CDEI, techUK is hosting a symposium to discuss the current approaches to AI assurance taken by techUK members. Member inputs will be used to inform policy and the development of practical tools and guidance, to enable effective AI assurance going forward. Through a mix of techUK member presentations and group discussions you will learn about a wide range of assurance approaches, contribute your views on assurance enablers and barriers and inform the government’s forthcoming work in the area.

Attendees can either attend online or at the techUK office in Central London.
