ICYMI | AI and climate change webinar: Do we have to slow down development to slow down emissions?

At techUK's last Digital Ethics Summit, we were joined by Dr Sasha Luccioni who addressed some of the risks AI pose to climate change - and what we can do mitigate these.

In the talk, Dr Luccioni, who is a Research Scientist at Hugging Face, shared insights into how we can assess the carbon footprint of machine learning models, methods to reduce this, as well as some of ways AI could help us combat climate change!
